How to host Counter-Strike 1.6 DEDICATED Server!!

I'm gonna teach you how to host a CS 1.6 dedicated server..

First you need to have cs game with (HLDS).Good Internet connection for hosting server all you need to do is router Port forwarding for hosting cs servers!!

I'm showing you of tp-link router.
Go to your router IP address that is 192.168.1.1
enter default username and password which is ADMIN
Then go to advanced setup then click on NAT

Then click on virtual server
there will be a box named application insert cs there
put end port and start port there
put local ip adress like 192.168.1.2
then save!!

Now go back to nat and click on dmz add dmz host ip there like 192.168.1.2 and save it now you are done port forwarding now try hosting!! host the server and go to www.cmyip.com your ip will be written there give that to others..:D

Today i'll teach you how to host Counter Strike 1.6 on Garena!!
  Dedicated Server
Step1:Go to these link and Download:

Its appromixately 11mb

Step2:After you complete downloading run counterstrike server creator then install those files on folder name 'HLDS' create this folder anywhere you want on you disk..it will take some time to download depending on your internet connection speed...These files would be appromixately300 MB in size

Step3:Extract SWDS.rar to 'HLDS' folder then copy server.cfg to HLDS folder or in your cs game folder(C:/programfiles/counterstrike 1.6/csstrike)

Step4:Run HLDS update tool which will be on HLDS folder.After updating is finished run Garena (if you dont have go through this link(http://intl.garena.com/~client/)

run garena select game cs1.6 then go to settings and there will be executable settings select hlds.exe not cs.

then start game and create server give server name udp port will be:27015  select map rcon password as your wish no.of players then start server then there will be ip address on the top give that ip address to friends and enjoy playing..
